sns-hfir-scse

IssueTypeStory
sns-hfir-scse
Short simple description of what a user wants from a piece of software in order to achieve some reason, generally a result of value. (Requirement Type)
IssueTypeTask
sns-hfir-scse
An Issue that is used to manage and track part or all of the implementation of a user story
Priority1-Blocking
sns-hfir-scse
Blocking tasks are the most urgent tasks that prevent data reduction for most or all users of one or more instruments. These tasks could include simple bugs that are quick to fix or the implementation of entirely new software to enable reduction for an instrument after an upgrade.
Priority2-Critical
sns-hfir-scse
Critical tasks are those that are severely affecting the ability of users to reduce data, but not yet preventing reduction. These tasks may, if left unfixed, become blocking tasks and cause strong drains on productivity. These tasks address capability gaps affecting many users.
Priority3-High
sns-hfir-scse
These tasks represent features that would greatly improve the performance of data reduction for one or more instruments, but the absence of the feature does not impact the majority of users. It is desirable for these tasks to be addressed above others.
Priority4-Medium
sns-hfir-scse
These tasks represent features or requirements that are needed, but their implementation can wait until blocking, critical, and high priority tasks have been addressed. These tasks may affect a small minority of users, and the needed capabilities may be available with a work around.
Priority5-Low
sns-hfir-scse
These tasks represent features or requirements that would be nice to have, but are not needed on a short time horizon. These tasks generally represent completely new capabilities and have no effect on today's users.
