It was blindly assumed that the InputWorkspaces has an axis of the type
SpectraAxis causing a segmentation fault. A fresh SpectraAxis is now
created for the input workspace independent of the original vertical
axis. Also:
- Added unit tests
- Updated sphinx documentation
- Updated release notes
