These include caching the value returned by len to prevent it being called
more than once, replacing a simple loop with a list comprehension, using
StoreInADS=False instead of calling DeleteWorkspace on an intermediate
workspace and clarifying the changes in the docs

A working check that the loaded workspace in spline division helper was
added, and an error is now thrown if there is a mismatch between the
number of banks in the spline and the number of banks in the run

The common vanadium division function was improved to allow for loading a
single spline instead of a group.
