Tested before and after change. Algorithm threw exception before this change, works correctly with this change.

It's quite slow at the moment.

BaseException.message has been deprecated since python 2.6. Whenever an error is thrown, the Mantid logs show a warning. This fixes it.

I did not see any warning messages during performing the steps described in the testing instructions.

Display empty values in Workspace History dialog rather than actual numeric values

The current git-lfs smudge filters download each file separately over a new
connection with a new git process. git lfs fetch is able to batch download
and has much better performance.

Happy to merge this as test passed with facility set to SNS and SmuS.
