Labels can be applied to issues, merge requests, and epics. Group labels are available for any project within the group.

  • IssueTypeCapability
    A service that fulfills a stakeholder need
  • IssueTypeDefect
    A change request that identifies a defect to be fixed
  • IssueTypeEpic
    A large user story that has been broken down into multiple child user stories
  • IssueTypeStory
    Short simple description of what a user wants from a piece of software in order to achieve some reason, generally a result of value. (Requirement Type)
  • IssueTypeTask
    An Issue that is used to manage and track part or all of the implementation of a user story
  • PriorityHigh
    The High priority represents work (or requirements) that must be accomplished and have a significant urgency to them
  • PriorityLow
    The Medium priority represents work (or requirements) might be “nice to do” or should be done at some point but have no urgency to them
  • PriorityMedium
    The Medium priority represents work (or requirements) that must be accomplished but have average urgency
  • StateAccepted
    Item (Story) has been reviewed and approved or accepted and is waiting for implementation
  • StateComplete
    Item (Story) has been implemented and is closed
  • StateDraft
    Item is new or in the process of being modified
  • StateInProgress
    Item actively being worked
  • StateRejected
    Item has been rejected for any reason and is closed. (Kept for reference purposes only)
  • StateReview
    Item (Story/Defect) is ready for or in the process of being reviewed by the implementation team
  • StateTest
    Item (Story) is ready for or in Test
  • StateTriage
    Defect that is under investigation
  • StoryTypeEnabler
    A story or capability that is focused on a project internal activity
  • StoryTypeProduction
    Story that focuses on that is to be deployed into the field
