The Kitware base images for Trame should have everything that is needed (except for a release candidate VTK version that needs to be added to avoid a Trame/VTK bug) to do GPU-accelerated rendering. We should remove all of our extra installs and make sure that we can run the base image properly. I'm also planning to test out some CI changes at the same time to fix the build-image pipeline rebuilding the source target.
